Process of the master’s examination

The master craftsman examination extends over a period of two years. During this time, both the preparatory technical school lessons and the exams take place. The participants are looked after and the examination is organized by the Chamber of Agriculture of North Rhine-Westphalia. The examination is carried out according to the examination regulations of the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Agriculture.

In preparation for the master craftsman's examination, the Chamber of Agriculture offers participants from all over North Rhine-Westphalia a part-time visit to the agricultural college for agriculture at the vocational college in Münster-Wolbeck. Lessons at the agricultural school will take place on Fridays and Saturdays and in supplementary blocks for two years. Students who have to travel a long way can use the dormitory on site.

The technical school ends with the qualification as a state-certified economist. During and after attending the technical college, you will also take the master craftsman's examination. The master craftsman's examination ends with the last two partial exams in August of the final year.

The technical school offer replaces the previous course to prepare for the master craftsman's examination. With the introduction of the technical college in part-time form to prepare for the master craftsman's examination, the Chamber of Agriculture opens up a new way of offering you an adapted and high-quality in-service training program.

Attending the part-time technical school is not compulsory for participants in the master craftsman's examination, but is strongly recommended as preparation for a successful examination. However, those who register for part-time technical school are required to attend classes regularly.
