Diversity makes society
Reflection on socially relevant topics in art

Diversity makes society

Racism changes from time to time and dresses in new clothes so that you don't always recognize it right away. Today it is directed against one group, tomorrow against another. Our society is diverse and it is the responsibility of all of us to stand up for this diversity.

So be vigilant, listen and discuss.

At the Institute for Translation and Interpreting, the students invite you to an expert talk and discussion on November 5, 2020. As speakers this year we have the honor of Bernhard Vanecek in his function as President of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Association of Jeunesses Musicales and Prof. Dr. phil. Marion Baldus from the Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, Evein Obulor from the Heidelberg Migration Hub, the authors, experts and activists Sami Omar and the musician Andreas Eichenauer, who bring us closer to these topics from different perspectives.
