What's the UPS phone number?

The UPS hotline is 01806 882 663 (20 cents / call from the German landline network; mobile communications max. 60 cents / call).

UPS can be reached by phone as follows: Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tip: If the voice computer on the UPS hotline cannot resolve your issue, press the 0 key after the data protection announcement to speak to a real person.

Where can I find the UPS contact form?

You can find the contact form at www.ups.com/upsemail/input?loc=de_DE.

First enter your name and your e-mail address in the form and then select the subject of your request. The contact form then opens, in which further information (shipment number, etc.) is requested.

UPS customer service experience

In our Paketda forum we have received feedback from UPS customers and their experiences with UPS customer service for many years. Compared with other parcel services, it can be seen that UPS customer service has more options for intervention than, for example, DHL or Hermes. It is possible to have UPS packages stopped, correct incorrect delivery addresses or clarify questions about customs clearance.

In the past, some customers complained that UPS used call centers abroad and that the hotline staff only understood and spoke German to a limited extent. In the meantime (as of 2020) UPS seems to have remedied this deficiency. We look forward to testimonials in the comments on this article at the bottom of the page.

The Paketda editorial team recommends registering for the UPS My Choice service. As the recipient of a parcel, you are thus able to redirect parcels, change the delivery day, issue a deposit permit or arrange for a UPS pick-up. This often saves a call to UPS customer service.

Occasionally we receive complaints from UPS customers whose parcel has been deposited in an access point (UPS parcel shop) without attempting to deliver to the recipient's address. This annoyance often affects private customers.

Some deliverers probably think that nobody is at home during the day anyway and therefore bring parcels straight to a parcel shop. That is not allowed. In such cases, please call UPS and request delivery to the home address. You can read more about this in our guide to simulated delivery attempts.
