Chris Cornell's biography

The singer Chris Cornell was born on July 20th, 1964 in Seattle (Washington, USA) under the real name of Christopher John Boyle, but later had his name changed.

After playing drums at the beginning of the band, Chris Cornell made a name for himself as a singer and guitarist for Soundgarden. After the band split up in 1997, he released his solo debut "Euphoria Morning" in 1999.

Chris Cornell worked in the episode with the musicians of the also defunct band Rage Against The Machine. The project was actually designed for a short time, and the band was born Audio slave.

At the same time as the announcement of his latest solo album "Carry On", Chris Cornell broke up with Audio slave known because of personal differences. His bandmates re-formed Rage Against the Machine.

In spring 2009 the album "Scream" was released. Chris Cornell reached tenth place on the album charts in the United States. In Germany it was only enough to position 46. The single "Part Of Me" did not get more than 24th place in this country.

At the beginning of 2010 Chris Cornell announced the reunion of the band Soundgarden on his MySpace account. In the fall, the group was seen at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago.
